Poiano Resort Hotel and SPA ****
The location of Poiano Hotel on Lake Garda is truly ideal, in the valley between San Virgilio and La Rocca. The property itself is also impressive thanks to the 120 rooms which are located in buildings surrounded by paths and gardens full of flowers, and some of these are accessible via exclusive romantic pathways. Furthermore, in a separate area you can find the Poiano Apartments which are spread out over 6 apartment blocks, and these are ideal for longer stays and family breaks. The reception is located in the central property together with the hall, the television room, bar, restaurant, panoramic terrace and other rooms. Large, elegant and characterised by the colours of Venetian marble, the Spa, with its salt water pool, Turkish bath, sauna, bio-sauna and multi-sensory shower, faces the gulf of Lake Garda, as do the rooms in the congress centre, which is set out over 3 floors in a stand-alone building which is able to host a large number of guests making it ideal for not only work meetings and professional events but also for fashion shows and show-rooms. Each event can also be accompanied by a dinner or lunch in one of the hotel’s various catering locations depending on your needs, including the Superior Bar which is perfect for business meetings. Both Poiano Hotel Spa and Poiano Apartments are open from March to November.
The Poiano Spa boasts large spaces with panoramic window panels that look out over Lake Garda and a salt water pool inside the property with hydromassage points and water jets, a hammam, 90°C sauna, 65°C bio-sauna and multi-sensory showers. The main face and body aesthetic treatments are also available. Entry to Spa allowed over 18 years.
Poiano Hotel has 120 rooms, all of which have a private balcony or terrace, and the rooms are divided into Classic, Costabella, Panorama and Junior Suite categories. Lastly, the Junior Suites, which are located at the end of a flowery path in a two storey building, have a view of Lake Garda from the furnished balcony or terrace. Furthermore there are 6 independent apartment blocks that house the 160 Poiano Apartments, and each block, either 2 or 3 storeys, is characterised by a different architectural style. Complex A is particularly impressive since it is a complex that dates back to the 1300s with a farm building, stable and tower, whilst Complexes E and F make up a small country style village with a small central square.
