The Hotel Astoria Relax & Spa is located in a quiet and sunny spot, a few minutes from the centre of the town of Seefeld, a resort famed for hosting the Winter Olympics in Austrian Tyrol, and provides a free shuttle service to the town centre. The hotel is surrounded by a large park with views of the mountains, and contains a new Wellness Centre that covers 4000 square meters, with a heated indoor and outdoor swimming pool. The hotel has a multi-award winning restaurant, a well-equipped conference room, and spaces to leave ski equipment, as the area offers 279 kilometres of slopes and cross country ski routes, and two resorts for Alpine skiing and snowboarding. The hotel has a convention with the local Golf Club, and has a minibus to take guests to the course.
The new Wellness Centre of the Hotel Astoria occupies 4000 square meters and contains a heated indoor swimming pool that connects directly with the outdoor pool, Laconium, salt cave, Finnish sauna, Tyrolese sauna, hydro-massage pool, herb steam bath, ice cascade, and a Kneipp and hydrotherapy pool. From May 2016 Hotel offers also a new external pool, a saline whirlpool and a 800sqm natural lake. The centre also has an area dedicated to massage and beauty treatments (including the exclusive chocolate therapy treatment) for the body and face and for men and women, including manicures and pedicures. The hotel also has a gym with the latest fitness equipment. At the Hotel Astoria, guests can follow a number of wellness programs, which include morning exercise classes, Qi Gong, aqua fitness, and much more. The programs also include HRV-Testing: a brief check-up to indicate stress levels that allows a health specialist to design a ‘bespoke’ wellness program.
The rooms of the Hotel Astoria are categorised into Double Rooms, Deluxe Rooms, Junior Suites, and Suites, including the Astoria Suite with its large sheltered terrace. All rooms and suites contain a satellite TV, a minibar, a safe, and free cables and wireless internet connection. Some rooms in the superior categories have a balcony or a panoramic terrace, while the suites have a living area set apart from the sleeping area; some of the more exclusive features include an electric fireplace in the Olympia & Panorama Suites.
The restaurant service of the Hotel Astoria begins with a sumptuous breakfast buffet available until 11 a.m., which can be enjoyed out on the terrace during the warmer seasons. At lunch, guests can try a light soup or salad at the hotel’s Relax Bar. In the evening, the Restaurant’s beautiful dining room with panoramic views is prepared to serve menus with up to seven courses of dishes selected by a multi-award winning team of chefs, who take pride in using local products. A buffet of sweets is prepared in the afternoon onwards, while fresh fruit is available at any time. Once a week, a Gala Dinner is organised, and the restaurant regularly prepares themed buffet evenings.

Seefeld is a classic Tyrolese mountain town, with a lively pedestrianized centre, a casino, a wide range of restaurants, bars, cafés, and nightclubs. The area is a Mecca for lovers of cross-country skiing, with 279 km of trails, and the resorts of Rosshütte and Gschwandtkopf for Alpine skiing and snowboarding. The town hosts a number of events in the summer and winter, including the “Blumencorso” flower show, the traditional craft fair, and the renowned “Seefeld Snow Festival”. There’s plenty to explore in the Leutasch valley, with 24 districts and a wide selection of trekking routes. Mösern is certainly worth a visit, which from its vantage point at 1245 m, offers extraordinary views of the Inn valley and the surrounding mountains. Other points of interest include Reith, just 3 km from Seefeld, and Scharnitz, on the border between Tyrol and Bavaria, in the Karwendel National Park.
