Wellness in Levico means health farms, but it also means enjoying the rich and untouched nature of Valsugana, where you can also practise various sports. The town itself has various points of interest for history and architecture lovers, but the surrounding area is what gives the final touch to a stay here, since you can go on excursions on the lakes of Levico and Caldonazzo, or visit the highlands of Vezzana, which is 1500m above sea level and covered in fields and conifer forests. There are Austrian forts to see in Passo di Vezzena and many other places related to WWI, as well as archaeological sites dating back to Celtic times and the ancient Via Claudia Augusta. Ski lovers will also be happy with the tens of kilometres of slopes that expand over Vezzana, and cross-country skiers can make use of the facilities in Malga Rivetta. The great gastronomic tradition of Valsugana must also be mentioned (which is famous for the special flour used to make polenta) and it can be enjoyed in the numerous restaurants and taverns (trattorie) that are scattered around the area.
