Among the historic sites in the surrounding area of the Spa, you can see the ruins of an early human settlement, around 4000 years old, at the top of Brinjeva gora hill. Here you can admire the church of the Divine Mother and the church of Saint Agnes (sveta Neža in Slovenian) or enjoy a coffee in the Zimrajh which is found in the ancient Roman cemetery. Still in the surrounding area, and worth a visit, is the old Konjic caslte, the Trebnik path, The historic centre of Slovenske Konjice and the majestic chartreuse of Zice, once a dwelling place of the French Carthusian religious order. For the lovers of natural tourism, there are different cliffs and sites to admire, like the Lovrenška jezera lakes and the protected Črno jezero lake, which originated 8000 years ago.
