Hotel Breza ****
Immersed in nature, Hotel Breza is a modern and welcoming property where guests can enjoy stays focused on well-being and relaxation thanks to Salute Olimia Spa, which is onsite and has an inviting thermal pool and offers numerous psycho-physical recovery programmes, whilst the Orhidelia Spa and Termalija Spa and its pools can be reached via a glass corridor. The Hotel has all the facilities guests need to enjoy a perfect stay: a restaurant, bar, entertainment for all ages, shops and the option to organize bike excursions for single guests or groups in the area surrounding the hotel which is characterised by forests and vines.
The Salute Olimia Spa, inside Hotel Breza, is one of the most important spas in Slovenia for treating illnesses and providing recovery programmes for sufferers of muscular-skeletal system disorders. From here, via an indoor corridor, guests can access the Termalija Spa that boasts 6000 square meters of swimming pools, over 1500 square metres of saunas (9 in total), a solarium, Spa & Beauty Centre, which offers various massages, hamam, face and body treatments and a fitness studio with Technogym equipment, and the Orhidelia Spa which also has indoor and outdoor thermal swimming pool, numerous saunas, and original architecture.
Hotel Breza boasts 167 double rooms (42 of which are anti-allergenic), and most have a balcony and all of the rooms have the main mod-cons. In the 18 suites, some of which also have a balcony, there is a separate bedroom and living area.
The restaurant at Hotel Breza can seat up to 240 people and the menu includes specialities from the international cuisine as well as dishes from the Slovenian cuisine. The Hotel also has an onsite bar.

The town of Podcetrtek, where Hotel Breza is located, sits in a valley next to the Sotla river which divides Slovenia and Croatia. Places to visit near the Hotel include the castle, which probably dates back to the XII century but which was reconstructed in the XVIII century, the natural reserve in the castle’s grounds and the two nearby churches, St. Lawrence and the Virgin Mary on Sand. Further afield but still worth a visit is the town of Olimje, which is home to a famous monastery, a farming civilisation museum, Baroque churches and castles. The surrounding nature is also very inviting for those who enjoy doing outdoor activities such as excursions or walking.
