Hotel Livada Prestige is located in the thermae town of Moravske Toplice, in the pannonian region of north east Slovenia, between Austria, Hungary and Croatia, an area that is characterised by vast plains and a generally mild climate. Close to the 3000 Thermae Spa, and connected directly with Thermae Medical Centre, this hotels offers guests 4 private pools and exclusive use of the “black” thermal water in the jacuzzi tubs in the double rooms. As well as the Livada 18 hole golf course, Hotel Livada Prestige boasts an onsite Thai massage centre, 2 restaurants, 3 bars and meeting rooms that are suitable for all types of events. This hotel is very popular with athletes thanks to the nearby facilities which are dedicated to physical and nutritional athletic preparation, and it is also a renowned location for wedding and events, and the hotel encourages guests to explore the surrounding area by bike (there are onsite bike rental services) via the 10 themed cycle routes that start and finish in Moravske Toplice.
There are 6 swimming pools at Hotel Livada Prestige: 4 are outdoors and have special areas dedicated to children and fun, whilst the other 2 are indoors and filled with the local “black” thermal water, which is particularly effective for treating degenerative, rheumatic and skin diseases and disorders and for post-operative rehabilitation. The hotel's guests also have free access to the nearby Thermae 3000 Spa which boasts many pools, indoor and outdoor, some of which are filled with thermal water, as well as jacuzzis, water works, artificial waterfalls and many other facilities suitable for all ages. The hotel's sauna centre boasts a herb laconium, calidarium, Finnish sauna, infra-red sauna and Turkish bath, and, at the Thai massage centre, guests can undergo traditional Thai massages and relaxation programmes performed by specialised personnel from Thailand. Lastly, the “Thermalium” Thermal Medical Centre is linked with the Hotel Livada Prestige and has numerous booths for treatment sessions and medical assistance.
Hotel Livada Prestige has 122 rooms, all of which are different sizes, and the majority of these (except the single rooms) boast a Jacuzzi tub which can be filled with the “black” thermal water of Moravske Toplice. All the rooms have air conditioning, a telephone, satellite television, minibar, safe box, balcony and Wi-Fi. Furthermore, in the Livada suite guests can hold events or meeting rooms thanks to its dedicated and equipped work area.
Hotel Livada Prestige has 2 onsite restaurants: one reserved for guests staying with a full board setup, and the Prestige Restaurant. Some of the best dishes from the Slovenian cuisine can be tried at both restaurants, in particular from the Prekmurje region, as well as a selection of dishes from the international cuisine. Personalised menus based on specific nutritional requirements (including gluten intolerance) are also available. The hotel also boasts are 3 onsite bars: the Aperitiv Bar, Panorama Bar and Wellness Bar, which are home to a vast range of Slovenian and foreign wines. The area of Moravske Toplice is very interesting and is home to lots of small villages, each with a characteristic style. Visits to the nearby churches are also a must: the Medieval church of St. Martina in Martjanci boasts a gothic style with frescoes painted by the famous Radgona Jihasnnes Aquila; Bogoiina is home to the “Ascension Church” designed by the architect Joze Plecnik; and Selo is home to the “Rotonda” which dates back to the XIII century. The flat planes here are very inviting for bike rides, especially in the Goricko natural park, and cyclists can enjoy seeing old mills and ancient farmhouses as well as the legendary castle of the Templars of Grad, one of the biggest in Slovenia. Other attractions in this area include the city of Maribor, the second biggest town in Slovenia, which is famous for numerous events which take place here in the summer on the shores of the Drava, and Ptuj, the oldest city in the country.
