The Fata Turchina Spa, which is onsite, boasts a swimming pool, massage rooms, a gym and many aesthetic treatments. Furthermore, the hotel can host workshops and conventions in the meeting room for up to 50 guests, whilst the Pinocchio restaurant, which looks out over the lake, serves up the best dishes from the local and international cuisine. Guests can also make use of the hotel's mountain bike hire service to admire the beautiful surrounding landscapes of the lake, or they can sail on the lake, which does not require a nautical licence, directly from the hotel's small jetty.
Hotel Lovere boasts an onsite Wellness and Beauty centre, the Fata Turchina Spa which expands over 250m² and has a swimming pool with hydromassage points, hydro jets and geysers, a Finnish sauna, Turkish bath, multi-sensory tropical and ice mint showers, waterfalls, a Kneipp circuit and relaxation and tea area. Guests can make use of the personal trainer in the fitness room and take part in step, aerobics and zumba fitness courses.
Hotel Lovere's 43 rooms are divided into 5 room types: classic, standard, superior, junior deluxe spa suite (with a sauna and Turkish bath) and royal spa suite, which has a well-being zone with a Turkish bath, Jacuzzi, multi-sensory shower and relaxation area with chromotherapy. All the rooms have air conditioning, a telephone, satellite television with Sky, minibar, safe box, kettle and internet (cable and Wi-Fi).
At the Pinocchio restaurant at Hotel Lovere guests can enjoy a rich breakfast buffet with home-made cakes and various savoury dishes. The best dishes from the local cuisine are served at lunch and dinner, including specialities made using home-made pasta and fish from the lake, as well as grilled meats, pizzas and local wines like Franciacorta and Valcalepio. The restaurant boasts a wonderful view of Lake Iseo and guests can dine on the terrace during the warmer months.
Some of the hotel's services and facilities:
The town of Lovere has preserved many traces of its long history: Ancient Lovere shows signs of the passing of eras from the Etruscans, Romans and Celtic Gauls, whilst Medieval Lovere boasts a beautiful Renaissance style centre with the symbolic dome of the Basilica di Santa Maria, and the modern part of Lovere shows signs of Napoleon and the birth of steam navigation on the lake. Surrounding the lake and just a short distance away are many points of interest including villas, open areas of greenery and much more. Lovere and Bergamo are close by and the latter's old town can be reached via a funicular and it is certainly worth seeing Piazza Vecchia, the Duomo and Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore. Brescia also has a lot to offer including the castle, Roman theatre, Tosia-Martinengo Pinacoteca and Santa Giulia museum.
