Located in a quiet area, but only 10 minutes walking from the centre of Porretta Terme, Hotel Santoli is a family-run hotel (the family’s namesake) which is particularly renowned for its wellness offer : it has a large, well equipped health farm situated in the attic of the property, on the fifth floor, and, via an internal corridor, it is connected to the Thermal Institute of Porretta Terme and a park. The convention room, which has an audio-video system and a capacity of 15-150 seats, also makes this hotel suitable for work appointments and meetings.
Hotel Santoli’s health farm is located in the attic, on the fifth floor, and it is surrounded by a panoramic terrace with a solarium that looks out on to the town and the mountains. It is equipped with a humid zone that is home to a Finnish sauna, Turkish bath with chromotherapy and aromatherapy, a course of multi-sensory showers, a meditation room with water beds, a Salt Cave and a relaxation area and a tea area with a fireplace. There are also various settings in the special spa swimming pool, such as different jets and levels of intensity, which can be tried out in various positions.
The hotel is connected to the Thermal Institute via an internal corridor and this is where all the thermal treatments are practised, from inhalation to auditory system treatments, along with rehabilitation, thermal mud treatments, massages and baths in sulphur water, and there is also a swimming pool with salsobromoiodic water available.
Hotel Santoli has 48 rooms, all of which are different from one another thanks to the furnishings and characteristics, however, they all have balconies, large windows and panoramic views of the greenery surrounding the property. They are also equipped with the latest LCD television, satellite television and all the mod-cons, from a Wi-Fi internet connection to complimentary toiletries.
Hotel Santoli’s restaurant,"The Basset", serves dishes that are characteristic of the local cuisine and that are prepared with ingredients from the area, such as a particularly delicious flour. The traditional cuisine of the Apennines is reworked here in a modern way, giving life to unique dishes like durum pasta with walnut and garlic pesto, homemade tagliolini with fresh cherry tomatoes, trout fillets and parsley, castagnocchi with melted butter, pancetta, pine nuts and rosemary and strapponi with horse mince, as well as meat based dishes and characteristic desserts, such as the ciambella montanara with hot chocolate sauce. The menu also includes international dishes.
