Hotel Tressane Family & Wellness Spa Resort ****
From a small, simple and comfortable countryside inn to a modern and elegant hotel that is focused on its guests’ well-being, Hotel Tressane boasts almost a century of history, during which it has undergone many important transformations, however, since it has always been in the hands of the same family, this hotel has remained true to its solid hospitality and cordiality traditions.
Hotel Tressane is part of a complex that consists of two other properties, and they are all under the name of Brunet Hotels, which is the name of the family which has owned this property since 1923, and they are connected to one another via an underground corridor which leads to the wellness area and beauty Spa.
This hotel is a characteristic Trentino style property, and this style can be seen inside the hotel too in all the communal spaces, and some evenings are even dedicated to Trentino traditions and they are part of a rich activity programme, which also includes entertainment for children.
Furthermore, the hotel’s 37 rooms are complimented by an outbuilding called Villa Giulia.
Hotel Tressane is connected to the 1000m² wellness area and beauty spa ‘Gocce di Rugiada’ via an underground corridor, which consists of a heated, indoor pool with hydromassage and water games (there is another outdoor, heated hot tub in the hotel’s garden), a sauna area (with a Finnish sauna, Biosauna, Turkish bath and Kneipp course), relaxation area with chromotherapy, well equipped gym and beauty centre. Classic massages and a large range of special treatments are carried out at the beauty centre, including wraps and treatments in a Soft Pack bath tub and luxury Ligne St. Barth treatments, which make use of beauty products that are produced on the Caribbean island of St. Barthèlemy according to the original recipes from the Arawak Indians.
The 37 rooms at Hotel Tressane are divided into five categories: the suites and the Prestige, Elegance, Traditional and Single rooms, and there is also an outbuilding called Via Giulia with standard rooms. Some rooms offer a view of the Pala Group, whilst others face the garden or Vette Feltrine, and certain rooms have separate living and sleeping areas and are suitable for families with children.
Hotel Tressane’s restaurant offers characteristic dishes from the Trentino cuisine (some evenings are even exclusively dedicated to this cuisine) as well as dishes from the national and international cuisines. Low calorie , gourmet, gluten-free and child’s menus are also available.
Some of the hotel’s services and facilities:
The area of Primiero, where Hotel Tressane is located, is a large valley at the foot of the Pala Group (one of the nine mountain ranges that is recognised as a world heritage site by UNESCO) which consists of 6 small villages that are connected via fields and small streets. Four kilometres away is the Panevaggio Natural park and 14km away is the ski resort of San Martino di Castrozza and Passo Rolle , the southern point of the Dolomite Superski carousel.
The hotel organises excursions, trips to the mountains and walks in the surrounding towns, and a tunnel and panoramic road connect Primiero to the Vanoi valley, which is home to small mountain towns that are certainly worth a visit, and the beautiful town of San Martino di Castrozza, which is surrounded by peaking conifer forests, is also worth visiting.
