In a quiet area just outside Chianciano centre, and near to its Thermal Centre, the Hotel Villa Ricci is a structure devoted to the wellbeing of its guests, starting with the relaxing panoramic view it affords of Mount Cetona and the lakes of Chiusi, Montepulciano and Trasimeno. Inside it has a Spa of some 450sqm designed for a variety of holistic experiences and offering numerous face and body beauty treatments. The hotel has a Restaurant that serves traditional Tuscan recipes and light dishes to suit every need, as well as a Conference Centre composed of 3 rooms, the largest of which accommodates up to 250 people.
The Holistic Wellness Centre of Hotel Villa Ricci extends over 450sqm divided into 3 areas. In the “Salone dell’Acqua” there is an ample bathing pool with water at 34°, with Jacuzzi jets. Children may use this area. The “Via dell’Acqua” includes Kneill, Thalaxoterm (steam bath), Hydrolife (bath with microjets, music therapy and chromotherapy), and the Twin Spa, a private Spa for couples with sauna, steam bath with salts or mud, Roman sauna, hammam with Berber ritual and the ancient Roman thermal experience. The “Via della Mano Madre”, lastly, is an area dedicated to face and body treatments and massages. In the Centre, there is also a relaxation area with tisanes and a fitness room with personal trainer where you can book individual or group Pilates sessions.
Hotel Villa Ricci offers rooms categorised as standard or vintage, all with double beds or twins, desk, satellite TV and free Wi-Fi.
Hotel Villa Ricci’s restaurant serves predominantly traditional Tuscan dishes, made with authentic local ingredients. Personalised light menus are also catered for following the recommendations of the nutritionists at the Wellness Centre. There is also a children’s menu.

From Chianciano you can enjoy exploring the history, culture and art of the area, precious remains of which are visible all over Tuscany. Val D’Orcia itself, where Chianciano lies, has a multitude of churches, abbeys, and more dating from the medieval period, forming an unmissable itinerary that is all the more charming for the fact that these ancient structures are often set in breathtakingly beautiful scenery. Close by Chianciano are some Unesco World Heritage towns: Siena, with its perfectly conserved medieval features; Pienza, the model of the “ideal city” with spaces and an atmosphere of scenographic, moving beauty, and San Gimignano, symbol of the enterprising spirit of Medieval Italy as well as an elegant and refined historical town.
The pool open every day from 9am to 8pm, for children 0-12 entry is free however is restricted to two hours per day from 9am to 10am and from 3pm to 4pm
