In a privileged position in Cogne, overlooking the Sant’Orso Meadow and with the Gran Paradiso national park and Mont Blanc in the background, the Hotel La Madonnina del Gran Paradiso blends perfectly with the natural surroundings of the valley, instilling relaxation and psychophysical wellbeing. The spectacular panorama can be enjoyed from the balconies, present in almost every room, from the outdoor Jacuzzi with water heated to 38°C and from the Wellness Centre that covers 500 m2, with a pool, sauna, and spaces for massage and beauty treatments. The pleasure of a stay at the Hotel La Madonnina del Gran Paradiso continues in the restaurant, open at lunch and dinner, serving the best of regional and national dishes, with options for vegetarians. Those visiting for the winter sports can use the nearby cable car of Montzeuc, the cross-country ski trails, and some of the most popular downhill slopes in the region; beginners can rely on the two ski instructors and a snowboard instructor to get them started at the hotel. At the end of the day, the hotel hosts social events and entertainment for the guests, such as drinks and snacks on the terrace, live music, concerts, film projections and cartoons shown in the basement for the kids. During the summer, the hotel also organises lunches out in the open, in the Lillaz picnic area, with traditional Valdaostan dishes.
The outdoor Jacuzzi with views of the Sant’Orso meadows introduces hotel guests to the wellness programs of the large spa, which has been designed and constructed to blend harmoniously with the outdoors thanks to the large glass walls overlooking the Prati di Sant’Orso. Inside is a heated pool, a Jacuzzi, a Finnish sauna with views of the Alps, a Turkish bath with aromatic essences, an ice cascade, an emotion shower with chromotherapy, a bucket shower, single or couples massage booths, and a relaxation area with herbal teas and a small buffet of fresh fruit and juices. The Wellness Centre also offers beauty treatments for the face, hair, and body.
La Madonnina del Gran Paradiso has a variety of room types for different needs. Standard rooms are located in the historic house of the hotel, while the superior rooms are located in the new wing.
