Relais Le Gemme ****
Surrounded by the extraordinary Pala Group Dolomites, Relais Le Gemme is part of a complex that consists of two other hotels and a spa , all of which are connected via a short underground corridor. Relais Le Gemme is ideal for both exclusive, intimate holidays and stays with all the family since there are different packages available during the winter and summertime, and there are 11 suites to choose from, all of which are inspired by a different stone, thus they all have different colours and atmospheres.
Some of the hotel’s facilities can be found on site, while others are located in the two sister Brunet hotels, Hotel Bressane and Park Hotel Iris, including the two restaurants and evening entertainment. One special feature at this hotel though is the possibility to have certain beauty treatments and massages performed in your suite.
The 1000m² wellness area and beauty spa ‘Gocce di Rugiada’, which can be reached via a short underground corridor, consists of a heated, indoor pool with hydromassage and water games (there is another outdoor, heated hot tub in the hotel’s garden), a sauna area (with a Finnish sauna, Biosauna, Turkish bath and Kneipp course), relaxation area with chromotherapy, well-equipped gym and a beauty centre. Classic massages and a large range of special treatments are carried out at the beauty centre, including Ribes Nigrum based face and body treatments , wraps and treatments in a Soft Pack bath tub and luxury Ligne St. Barth treatments which make use of beauty products that are produced on the Caribbean island of St. Barthèlemy according to the original recipes from the Arawak Indians.
Tourmaline, Agate, Jade, Rock Crystal, Amethyst, Moonstone, Sun Stone, Ruby, Aquamarine and Emerald: these 11 stones are the 11 inspirations for the suites, all of which are different from one another but which all provide comfort and relaxation. Some of the suites have a Jacuzzi tub and sauna, others have an oil fireplace and some even have a balcony that looks out over the garden or the ‘Vette Feltrine’. A number of the suites are made up of two rooms, and these are the suites that are suitable for families and in which you can undergo beauty treatments and massages.
Both the restaurant in Hotel Tressane and that in Park Hotel Iris can be reached from Relais Le Gemme by the underground corridor and they are both proud to serve up characteristic dishes from the Trentino cuisine (some evenings are even exclusively dedicated to this cuisine) as well as dishes from the national and international cuisines. Low calorie, gourmet, gluten-free and child’s menus are also available.
Some of the hotel’s services and facilities:
The area of Primiero, where Hotel Tressane is located, is a large valley at the foot of the Pala Group (one of the nine mountain ranges that is recognised as a world heritage site by UNESCO) which consists of 6 small villages that are connected via fields and small streets. Four kilometres away is the Panevaggio Natural park and 14km away is the ski resort of San Martino di Castrozza and Passo Rolle, the southern point of the Dolomite Superski carousel.
The hotel organises excursions, trips to the mountains and walks in the surrounding towns, and a tunnel and panoramic road connect Primiero to the Vanoi valley , which is home to small mountain towns, which are certainly worth a visit, and the beautiful town of San Martino di Castrozza , which is surrounded by peaking conifer forests, is also worth visiting.
