Hotel Radin ****
The Radenci Thermae Spa, where Hotel Radin is located, can be found in the town with same name in the north west of Slovenia, just 2 hours by car from Trieste and a short distance from the Austrian border. Radenci has been well-known since the late 19th Century thanks to the Radenska mineral water which is bottled here and exported to Europe with its characteristic label with 3 red hearts. It is also used at the Thermae Spa (coming directly from the source) for comestible use, and, in fact, the hotel takes it names from one of the sources in Radenci.
Surrounded by a green landscape of wheat fields and vineyards, along the Mura river, Hotel Radin is the main Hotel in the complex in terms of capacity, and offers free entrance to its swimming pool complex, featuring both indoor and outdoor pools filled with thermal and fresh water. The well-being possibilities at the hotel include a Ayurveda Centre, Health and Relaxation Centre, Beauty Centre and health and well-being programmes for athletes.
This hotel is also suitable for business guests thanks to its multifunctional meeting halls, and the Radenci Thermae Spa complex, which Hotel Radin and the adjacent Hotel Izvir are part of, offers many opportunities to do physical activity both in the gym and outdoors, including tennis and beach volleyball.

The Radenci Thermae Spa boasts a Ayurveda Centre where various types of massages are carried out, including those using hot oil., whilst in the Corrium Health and Relaxation Centre the well-being services are mainly focused on the Radenska mineral water and the local thermal water, especially for the treatment of the urinary, cardiovascular, peripheral circulatory, digestive and motor systems. The Spa also boasts 6 different saunas, a Beauty Centre, where guests can undergo various massages and face treatments, including hyaluronic acid, gold and wine (wine therapy) treatments, and the ‘Stone and Concert’ where treatments using volcanic stones are performed, together with many others.
With its 291 rooms, Hotel Radin is the biggest accommodation property in the complex. The mod-cons available in the rooms include a telephone, satellite television, minibar and safe box. The rooms with a balcony do not have air conditioning, whilst the rooms with a French balcony do. Furthermore, Wi-Fi internet is free in the rooms and throughout the properties.
There are two restaurants at Hotel Radin: the first restaurant serves up dishes from the local cuisine as well as dietetic dishes inspired by the principles of Ayurveda, or they can be made according to individual dietetic needs; whilst The Park trattoria is specialised in the local gastronomy and traditional Slovenian recipes, and dinner can be enjoyed in an informal environment here.
