Some of the hotel’s services and facilities:
Riccione and Rimini are some of the most sought-after seaside resorts in Europe and their hospitality traditions include perfect welcoming organisation and numerous recreational, sporting and cultural activities that are not just seasonal. A walk along the seashore is a must for visitors, as well as a night in one of the numerous clubs and bars that are located both within and outside of the city.
However, the surrounding area also offers many points of interest both in terms of natural and cultural attractions. Here are some suggestions: Coriano, which is 8 kilometres from Riccione, is a village that lies amongst ancient farms that are rich in vines and olive trees, an ideal place to go for a walk in the Marano River Park and Rio Melo valley; the Grotte di Onferno in nearby Gemmano, which is a notable geological point of interest; Gradara, which is certainly worth a visit to see its wonderful castle; Montecolombo, where, inside the Church of San Martino, there is a beautiful 18th Century painting of St. Martin by Brancaleoni; Montegridolfo and its famous Malatestiano castle from the 1300s; the Republic of San Marino, which boasts a walkway connecting its three towers situated on the three highest points of the mount; the village of San Clemente, with a parish church designed by the architect Luigi Poletti; and San Leo, which is home to the Fortress of San Leo where Count Cagliostro was imprisoned. All these places regularly host traditional festivals and feasts, especially during the summer, and it is possible to take part in performances in traditional dress, creating atmospheres reminiscent of Medieval and Renaissance times.
Slightly further away (52 kilometres away), but nonetheless a must-see, is Urbino, the home town of the painter Raphael, the cathedral that was reconstructed by Federico da Montefeltro, the Ducal Palace and the National Gallery of the Marche, which is rich in Renaissance art work.
